Jefferson CityState Sen. Jason Crowell, R-Cape Girardeau, today announced that four more companies in the 27th Senate District will receive funding assistance through the Missouri Job Development Fund’s Customized Training Program to provide employee training.

The four companies to receive a total of $27,169 for training 43 new and current employees are: Big River Telephone Company, Cape Girardeau; Jackson Machine & Manufacturing, Jackson; Sabreliner Corporation, Perryville; Spartech Plastics, Cape Girardeau.

“Our district and our state as a whole are benefiting from these funding approvals,” Crowell said. “This year has been filled with moves to revitalize Missouri’s economy, and strengthening our workforce is a great way to do that.”

As recently released, the ten other companies in Crowell’s district to also benefit from funding assistance for training are: Nodenia USA, Jackson; Ole Hickory Pits, Cape Girardeau; Pavestone, Scott City; Procter & Gamble Corporation, Jackson; S & W Cabinets, Chaffee; Tetra Pak Materials, Sikeston; TG Missouri, Perryville; Buzzi Unicem, Cape Girardeau; Havco Wood Products, Scott City; and Technology & Networking, Inc., Scott City.
