Basic Tips for
Keeping Your Computer Secure
- Make sure that your computer has anti
virus and anti spyware protection and keep it updated on
a regular basis.
- Avoid forwarding an email that was
forwarded to you. If you forward an email it's a
good idea to send the recipient a Blind Carbon Copy
(BCC) to prevent spammers from getting your family and
friend's email addresses.
- Never open any emails or attachments
from an unknown sender.
- Use caution when downloading files
from the Internet.
- Turn off the computer when
it's not in use.
